In fact I recently tried a treatment for this, and when it comes to teeth whitening Surrey is definitely the best option in this neck of the woods, they have many dentists with great reputations. The treatment which I chose was just a temporary fix so I decided to start taking a look at other options for how I could whiten my teeth at home. If you are looking for some ways to improve the color of your teeth, here are some options which you could try.

Brushing With Baking Soda

Baking soda has excellent qualities which can greatly help you to not only clean your teeth but whiten too. Baking soda is abrasive which makes it perfect for scratching away any stains which you may already have. Baking soda also helps to create an alkaline rich environment in and around your teeth, which makes it very hard for bacteria to live in these conditions. If you brush with baking soda for a week or two you will start to see the difference.

For further help, combine crushed strawberries with baking soda to create a toothpaste which will leave your teeth shiny white. The strawberries contain something called malic acid which is a great agent for bring out the whiteness in the teeth.

Hydrogen Peroxide

The thought of putting a bleaching agent such as hydrogen peroxide in your mouth may worry you but if applied properly it can do you the world of good. Through the use of a 1.5% or 3% solution, you will be able to get the results that you looking for, without causing yourself any problems whatsoever. Mix the agent with a touch of baking soda too which will give you excellent results in a short space of time. The most important thing to remember here is not to use the hydrogen peroxide over a long period of time, if you do this then you run the risk of softening your teeth, which can lead to problems later on down the line.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Thanks to the bacteria killing properties of acetic acid, apple cider vinegar  has a huge array of uses, one of which is to clean and whiten teeth. Using apple cider vinegar once per week as part of your normal cleaning routine can not only help to clean the teeth of any stains which may exist, it will also add a white shine to the teeth and ensure that they stay bacteria free.
